After 43 student went missing in Guerrero state during clashes with police and alleged cartel members on September 26th, thousands of protestors took over Mexico City’s centre demanding their safe return. Chanting ‘Vivos se los llevaron, vivos los queremos’ (‘They were taken alive, we want them back alive’), many also called for President Enrique Pena Nieto’s resignation in response to this attack and the estimated 25, 000+ people who have gone missing since 2006.
